The final stage saw Cadel Evans attack about 8 times up the final climb, but every time he went Valverde was on his wheel marking every move, but my attention was quickly drawn to ease at which contador stayed with the 2 of them. Not once did he look in trouble, he never tried any moves but you can clearly see that he is reaching good form heading into the Tour de France
